Ecrin Lead Free Crystal Wide Storage Box with Caramel Lid
This NUDE Ecrin container is practical and chic in equal parts. Designed by Sebastian Herkner, the collection draws inspiration from the Earth Pyramids of Ritten – an impressive natural monument in South Tyrol.
Crafted from a combination of clear and colour-infused crystal, the container’s commanding, heavy base contrasts beautifully with the smooth shape of the lid. A precious piece to store precious items.
Pair it with other pieces from the Ecrin series for an eciting table arrangement.
16.6cm diameter x 11.8cm high. Wipe with a soft cloth. Gentle rinse in warm water if necessary.
Design by Sebastian Herkner.

Born in 1981 in Bad Mergentheim, Germany, Sebastian Herkner earned a degree in product design at the HfG Offenbach am Main (Offenbach University of Art and Design). During his studies, he focussed on designing objects and furniture that synthesize various cultures, combine new technologies with traditional craftsmanship, highlight the multifaceted beauty of his materials and draw renewed attention to the smallest of details. As a student, Herkner interned at Stella McCartney in London, honing his approach to materials, colors, structures and textures. Since founding his own design studio in Offenbach am Main in 2006, Herkner has designed products for brands such as Cappellini, ClassiCon, Dedon, Fontana Arte, La Chance, Moroso, Nude and Rosenthal, as well as working on interior, exhibition, and museum design projects. His work has been recognized with, among other distinctions, the 2011 German Design Award in the Newcomer category, the 2015 EDIDA Award for Best International Newcomer and Guest of Honor at Imm Cologne 2016. Since 2007, Herkner has taught at HfG Offenbach am Main as a visiting lecturer.
